ADMISSIONE APLLICATION TO THE SELECTION
12 students will be admitted to the Master's degree. The course will not be held if the number of enrollees is less than 8. A further reserve of 4 places will be kept for auditor students.
The admissions application form (Template A) can be downloaded from the the link below or obtained at the Master's Degree Office, and must be sent no later than 1 p.m. CET on wednesday 31 October 2018, at the following address:

If candidates are not able to deliver the 'Declaration of value' within the application deadline, they have to fill in the 'Template C - Template C Fillable' of this announcement. The candidates admitted to the Master's Degree who are not in possession of all the documentation required, will be enrolled 'with reserve'. If they do not, only a certificate of attendance as an auditor student will be issued.

Non-EU citizens residing abroad must present their application for admission to the Master's Degree together with their academic qualification(s), to the Department in charge of the Master - DISAFA - ULF Microbiologia agraria e Tecnologie alimentari - Largo Paolo Braccini, 2 - 10095 Grugliasco (TO) - ITALY, within the terms envisaged by the call for admission to the Master's Degree. ADMISSION TEST AND RATING
The Master is a degree course with a restricted number of places, therefore, for the admission to the selections it is absolutely necessary also the on line pre-enrolment (enrolment on competition - Enrolment on masters).
In order to matriculate for the admission test candidates should:
- Be registered at the Portal of the University of Turin (www.unito.it) and have the credentials (username and password) to access the MyUniTO (Login). If candidates have never been students at University of Turin (UniTO), they must register as 'Futuro studente' (prospective student), following the Portal registration instructions;
- Submit the application for the competition in the on line mode. For the submission of the online application, candidates need to access the area MyUnito (selecting the item 'Login' on the home page) and do authentication with credentials (username and password). Select the item 'Iscrizioni', which candidates can find in the upper left menu and afterwards the item 'Test di ammissione' to go on with the on line application form;
- Pay the contribution provided for the admission test by the module issued by the on line procedure (print the MAV) and keep the receipt in order to show it, during the recognition phase, the day of the admission test.
Candidates eligible for admission to the Master will be rated according to their academic achievements and an examination. Candidates will have to sit a test (multiple choice in English) to ascertain their basic knowledge of chemistry and biology, followed by an aptitude interview during which their English language skills will be assessed. For the admission to the interview, the candidates must to pass the written test with a minimum score of 21/30. The interview will be enriched by an assessment session intended to evaluate transversal skills and personal characteristics of candidates and to highlight the strengths and weaknesses respect to the requested profile.
The entrance examination will be held from Monday, November 12, 2018 inLecture Hall Magna of the DISAFA, Largo Paolo Braccini, 2 - Grugliasco (TO), starting at 10.00 a.m. CET.

At the end of the selection process, candidates will be rated according to the overall result obtained by those admitted, in decreasing order. In case of same score, candidates possessing the academic qualifications required for admission to the Master at the time of selection (graduated candidates) will be selected. For the admission to the Master the candidates, up to a maximum of 12, must achieve a minimum score of 80/100. With the same score, candidates who have obtained the degree with the highest score will be preferred. The Master's Degree will not be run if the number of candidates that fulfil this requirement is less than 8 (eight).

In order to be admitted to the selection, candidates must provide for the admission application (Template A) and all documents requested to be sent, and to register for admission on line. The two procedures are complementary; not complying with one of the two involves exclusion from the selection.
Candidates who do not report all the required information in the application will be excluded from the selection.
The simultaneous enrolment to the Master and other university study courses is not allowed.

- Ogni altro titolo che il candidato intenda presentare (attestati, pubblicazioni, etc.), da prodursi in originale o in copia dichiarata conforme all'originale dall'interessato.

Per iscriversi online alla prova selettiva per un Master ad accesso programmato occorre:
- Registrarsi al portale di Ateneo ed avere ottenuto le credenziali (username e password) per accedere all'area riservata MyUniTO (Login). I candidati che non sono mai stati studenti dell'Università degli Studi di Torino, devono registrarsi come 'Futuro Studente', seguendo le istruzioni riportate nella pagina Istruzioni per la registrazione al portale;
- Presentare, nei termini stabiliti, la domanda on line di partecipazione al concorso di ammissione.
Per la presentazione della domanda on line occorre effettuare il login sul portale di Ateneo (selezionando la voce 'Login' che si trova sulla home page, nel box in alto a destra) ed autenticarsi con le credenziali ottenute (username e password) in seguito alla registrazione al portale. Dopo l'autenticazione selezionare la voce 'Iscrizioni', che si trova nel menù in alto a sinistra, e successivamente selezionare la voce 'Test di ammissione' per procedere alla compilazione on line della domanda; - Stampare il MAV relativo al contributo per il test di ammissione ed effettuare il pagamento. Conservare la ricevuta di avvenuto pagamento da esibire durante la procedura di riconoscimento il giorno della prova. Nel caso di mancata attivazione del corso il contributo per la prova di ammissione è rimborsabile dalla struttura che lo ha incassato.
La formazione della graduatoria di ammissione al Master sarà definita in base ad una selezione per titoli ed esame. I candidati dovranno sostenere un test (in lingua inglese a risposta multipla) di accertamento delle conoscenze di base nelle discipline della chimica e della biologia, cui farà seguito un colloquio attitudinale durante il quale sarà verificata la conoscenza della lingua inglese. Accederanno al colloquio solo i candidati che avranno superato il test scritto con una valutazione uguale o superiore a 21/30 (ventuno/trentesimi). Il colloquio attitudinale sarà arricchito da sessioni di assessment di gruppo volte a rilevare caratteristiche personali e skill trasversali dei candidati e ad evidenziarne punti di forza e debolezza rispetto al profilo richiesto.
L'avvio della prova di selezione è fissato per lunedì 12 novembre 2018 alle ore 10,00 presso l'aula Magna del DISAFA (l'individuazione dell'aula potrà subire delle modifiche da verificare sul sito del Master) , Largo Paolo Braccini, 2 - Grugliasco (TO).
Al termine della selezione sarà redatta una graduatoria di merito degli ammessi secondo l'ordine decrescente della valutazione complessiva assegnata a ciascun candidato. A parità di punteggio saranno preferiti i candidati che al momento della selezione saranno già in possesso del titolo di studio richiesto per l'ammissione al Master (candidati laureati). Saranno ammessi i candidati, sino ad un massimo di 12 (dodici), che abbianoraggiunto un punteggio uguale o superiore a 80/100. A parità di punteggio saranno preferiti i candidati che abbiano conseguito la laurea con il punteggio più alto. Il Master non sarà attivato qualora il numero di candidati che soddisfano tale requisito sia inferiore a 8 (otto).
